Cream of Mushroom and Bacon Soup

Cream Of Mushroom And Bacon Soup

INGREDIENTS (per person):
  • 100grams oyster mushrooms (cut in stripes)
  • 80 grams double cream
  • 50 grams butter
  • 3 strips of bacon (thick)
  • 4 medium garlic cloves
  • salt
  • 1/3 to1/2 cup chopped dill (or other fresh herbs)


  • chop or cut bacon into not too small pieces
  • fry in frying pan on medium heat together with the garlic cloves until getting slightly crispy
  • then add butter and mushrooms into the frying pan and let it all simmer at medium heat with the lid on (for about 5 minutes)
  • remove the lid and add salt to taste
  • still on medium heat add the double cream and stir
  • add the fresh herbs (chopped) at the end and stir for about one minute
  • done!
Serve in a bowl!
